Health & Safety

Is the product & procedure safe?

At this time, the FDA does not regulate eyelash extensions since they are solely applied to the lashes & do not touch the skin. The primary ingredient in our medical grade adhesives is the same ingredient used by plastic surgeons in the U.S. for suture-less wound closure (to close skin wounds without stitches). However, improper application by an unqualified technician can cause damage to your eyes & eyelids. Do not trust your eyes to just anyone. All of Eyelash Envy's lash stylists are Licensed Estheticians & Cosmetologists & have completed the necessary training to safely apply extensions.

Do Eyelash Extensions damage natural lashes?

Eyelash Extensions cause should not cause damage to the natural lashes. However, improper at home care such as clients that pick, rub, or use unsafe products with the extensions, can break off the natural lash in which the extensions is adhered. In some cases, picking will prematurely pull out the natural lash. This not only hurts but it may take up to 90 for that lash to re-cycle growth. There is no evidence that any damage will be caused to future lashes. In fact, lash extensions can be worn for many years because we are always reproducing new lash growth. So wear & enjoy!... But you might get addicted!
